CACPB/CACC Executive Board

The Executive Board of the CACPB and CACC is an all-volunteer board consisting of community members from the College area.

Board Make Up

There are twenty positions on the CACPB/CACC Executive Board.

  • Eighteen of these positions are elected by the membership of the CACC at the general membership meeting in March.
  • The other two positions are appointed positions by SDSU.  These two vital positions ensure that SDSU administration and students views are fairly heard in all community discussions.
    • The SDSU President appoints one of these positions; Tyler Sherer was appointed by President Webber in May 2007 shortly after he was hired by SDSU as the Community Relations Director.
    • The second SDSU appointee position is named by the SDSU Associated Students and is currently held by AS VP Alyssa Bruni.

The eighteen elected positions are open to CACC members who are residents or businesses owners in the College Area.  The four categories of membership are:

  • Resident Property Owner
  • No-Resident Property Owner
  • Renter
  • Area Business Owner (included non profit agencies).

The other requirements for Executive Board membership are:

  • must be at least 18 years of age and
  • must have been to at least two CACC Executive Board meetings in the previous year, which is verified by the sign-in sheets available at each meeting.
